Great quite place to camp on the river
We noticed alot of homeless people come in late so they don't have to pay then leave early in the morning or go deeper in the woods till night fall. Don't waste your time or money camping here, better spent on a campground that isn't catering to a chosen few with big bucks !
Out of the way... but no trails
Great place to land your kayak for a short trip from Iowa City.
Great small campground but you have to get a spot saved by Wednesday in order to camp on Fri-Sun, waste of money for people that actually have a M-F job and can't afford to buy up all the spots for you and your buddies 3-4 days in advance. Seems like the same people take up all the spots for most of the summer, kinda stupid that the park official's allow this "Hoarding" of the campsites.
