I love the people at The River.
Being a young adult, I have loved being a part of this church community for the last year! This church community is always so inviting, loving, and full of life. The youth and kids ministry is excellent and fun, the worship music is so compelling and refreshing, and the sermons are so pertinent and true to God's Word. If you are looking for a church to attend, belong to, or call home while living in the Iowa City area, this is the place to be. Invite your friends, family, co-workers, and sports teammates to this church community!
I moved to Iowa in August of last year (2015) and I visited my parents church (The River) with them. I found the sermons to be very interesting which hasn't been the case at any other church that I've attended. I've been attending The River for several months now and I love it there. Everyone that I've gotten to know there has been very friendly and makes me feel welcome. I highly recommend that you and your friends or family come visit The River or at least check out their website to learn more.
