A great place to stop for a quick ice cream cone, or to sit down outside for a little while! Staff is very nice, and there are lots of yummy options to choose from, but not so much that it's overwhelming. There is a drive through or walk up window, and lots of grass and benches to sit down. Definitely tell make sure you stop by Dane's Dairy!
A local favorite, and for good reason! This tiny ice cream drive-in is tucked away and hidden right off of highway 6. It can be hard to spot from the road, so keep your eyes peeled!
This is our go-to local ice cream spot after any sort of sporting activity on this side of Iowa City. If you don't expect natural cane sugar or anything more than a local version of Dairy Queen you are bound to be pleased. It's slightly more off the beaten path than the nearby Culver's but worth it for the fun lawn ornaments and outdoor seating.

Dane's offers delicious soft serve ice cream and slushies with lots of flavor and treat options. It reminds me of a local, cozier, and tastier version of Dairy Queen. You can either hit the drive thru, or the walk up window to order yourself a treat. Then find a seat outside! The decorations and vibe at Dane's is charming and enjoyable! It's a great place to end a hot summer day!
