The live music and comedy are spot on. The monday night stand up is a warm and welcoming crowd full of support for newbies and the open mic music has an amazing jam session vibe to it. It helps that both if these are in their cozy basement that offers a unique and intimate atmosphere. They have more than affordable drinks and a lovely space. My favorite spot in iowa city by far.

I've only gone here twice for shows with friends. Not my type of place but it's fine. The shows are the the basement. The upstairs is really tiny but just a 'regular bar'. Full bar downstairs too.
