This is by far the worst Taco Bell I've ever eaten at. Not only is the food lower in quality than most other Taco Bell locations, more often than not there's a problem that inconveniences you as the customer. Today, it was that they can't accept any payment but cash. I've seen the lobby area closed for no reason, ingredients run out, wifi been unavailable, all coupled with a staff that doesn't care in the slightest. I have never seen any of this happen at any other Taco Bell in any other city in which I've lived. Too bad it's the only one for.miles. I promise you, you will probably have a uniquely bad experience here.
The level if disrespect I receive from this taco bell is insane. The wait in the drive thru is TERRIBLE. Corporate needs to do something about this location. It doesn't taste as good as other taco bells, the service is awful, and the wait time is too long for a fast food restaurant. This is the only taco bell in my area or I would, for sure, go to another location. The night manager is great though, she is always nice and is always working hard. Someone send a taco S.O.S because this place needs help.
I think the reviews describing the customer service are incorrect or poorly justified. I live a few blocks from here and I come a few times a month. I've never yet had a bad experience. The deck could be swabbed a bit bit other then that it's a good taco bell.
Food was good. Wait was long, 20+ minutes. Cash register inside was broken, no one knew how to fix it, so we were forced to go through the drive thru. They ran out of large and medium cups, we were forced to take smalls if we wanted drinks. Customer service was decent, they could have been more prepared, epically for a Friday night.
I originally gave them two stars. But I had to change it to 4 because even though I was in the Drive-Thru Lane for 20 minutes it's still one of the friendliest Taco Bell locations and possibly fast food restaurants in Iowa City. And the food's not bad either. They don't skimp.
