There is a trail leading to no where but if you go left when the paved trail ends there is an adorable little frog pond. Such a nice neighborhood filled with families it's a shame it doesn't have a bigger park with splash pad, etc. Iowa City parks are definitely not what they could be.

This park is medium/large with a paved path. Down a large incline there's some play equipment and picnic tables. The play equipment is limited, but unique. The rope mountain is best for kids 3+, but there is a slide, baby swings, and teeter totter that could work for kids 1+. Follow the path across the bridge and there's a loop path with prairie grasses, a pond, and two picnic shelters. The park is right next to interstate 380 so unfortunately suffers from noise pollution. There is limited shade, but there will be more as the young trees grow.
