My wife and I recently bought a home and had a list of things to be done. Troy did the work at a duplex we were renting so we figured we'd stick with him at the new place we bought. He was a nice enough guy and seemed reliable. Problem was he never finished the job, then sent us a bill five months after the partial job was 'finished'. It was always "I'll call you next week to set up a time for this", then "Oh I'm sorry, I'll text you later this week to come look at that." Eventually all correspondence ceased, and we finally got the hint that we needed to seek out other plumbers. We did, and they did a great job finishing the work. Troy never got in touch with us again to inquire about the rest of the work to be done. Troy won't get a recommendation from us.
Troy's Plumbing is fantastic! Troy is prompt and thorough and very reasonably priced. Best of all, he cleans up after himself!! That may sound obvious but one of the other "established" plumbing companies in town once left grime all over my bathroom floor. What they did clean up, they did using my personal bath towels! I was shocked. Troy's work on the other hand, is impeccable. It's incredibly reassuring to have such a conscientious, thorough, trust worthy and reliable plumber - right here on the west side of town. I will never use anyone else.
Why do you not return phone calls?
Highly Recommend! Troy was very prompt, worked around my schedule, worked very quickly and was very reasonably priced. Not to mention he is a very nice, personable guy. I prefer to give my money to local businesses and as long as I live in Iowa City, Troy will be my plumber of choice.
