Great staff and very friendly! Very good house made Bloody Mary's and delicious pizza and the cheeseburger calzone is one of my favorites
really crappy service every time I go, but it's the best pizza ever. the atmosphere is very sad and the regulars aren't nice, but they have the best pizza ever. Every time I'm in Iowa City I make sure to get a pizza. Also, they're always hiring so they have that going for them.
Good food, great beer selection. Evening staff takes great care to make food the right way. They don't rush and make garbage or burn the crust skimp on the toppings. Nice place for families and for dates. Even though they have a bar, you don't deal with a bunch of drunks like downtown. If you want really good Chicago style pizza you go to Sam's. They aren't the cheapest but that's because they put the effort in.

Service can be slow at times. But they have the best calzones in town. My wife and I stop here every time we drive thru Iowa City.
