Very nice walking/biking park, needs a bigger parking lot.
Great area to ride a bike, rollerblade, walk a dog, and so much more. This is a paved path, so if you are looking to hike, not the place, but if you are looking to take a walk and enjoy the weather, it's perfect.
Beautiful during all four seasons. Plenty of space for dog-walking and baby strollers.
Great bike path with views of two small lakes and an up-and-coming prairie. There's also a lookout over the Iowa River (though a fenced-in city-water intake is in the way). Easy to bike to (other than a big ridge that you have to bike up and down from to get there when coming from Iowa City).
A prairie restoration park with a large pond and handicap accessible fishing dock. Level, paved trails good for walking and biking. Only drawback is that the South end of the park is adjacent to Interstate 80.
